Exposição temporariamente nos espaços do Posto de Turismo de Santa Marinha do Zêzere –
The Archaeological Center of the Municipal Museum of Baião presents the permanent exhibition "Archaeological Field of Serra da Aboboreira", on the traces of the occupation of this region from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. Of this exhibition, the model with 120 human figurines stands out, which illustrates the different stages of construction of a tapir and the respective mamoa (mound on land and stone).
Anualmente, o Núcleo de Arqueologia do Museu Municipal oferece um conjunto significativo de atividades realizadas em vários espaços museológicos (mosteiro de Ancede e casa de Chavães) e sítios patrimoniais (Conjunto megalítico da serra da Aboboreira, oficinas de artesanato, igrejas paroquiais).
